[...] This Prelude hails from Toledo, Ohio and is part of the Caught Ya Lookin Car and Truck Club which is a major supporter of Echelon Autosports. Look up the definition of JDM and a picture of Phil Myers 97′ Prelude will be smiling at you. This particular build has been executed to perfection, it has amazing form, function and beauty. Starting in the engine bay, Phil opted to transplant the factory H22 with a JDM H22 Motor while adding a set of AEM Pullies and Skunk2 Cam Gears into the mix. He then added a Password JDM CF Intake, S2000 Throttle Body, Hytech Header along with a Hondata S200 w/P72 ECU to pull more power from the engine. After putting some good power to the ground he had to make sure the car would handle properly, so went on a slew of Tanabe suspension parts along with a set of Tein Type Flex Coilovers and to top it off some Brembo Rotors to accent the 17″ Rota Boost Wheels(Gold) which are wrapped with some Falken rubber. He wasnt done there though, to complete the JDM look the exterior and interior needed to be dealt with. So what does Phil do? He decides to replace the entire interior with the Red interior from a JDM Prelude SiR, while complementing that with a S2000 steering wheel and shift knob. He then moved to the exterior and finished off the car by throwing on a Greddy Front Lip, Mugen Sideskirts and Rear Add-Ons, a carbon Hood as well as a custom made carbon moon roof. All in all this car was built with a goal in mind and I have to say it has been executed flawlessly. We here at Echelon support Phil in his continuing effort to build one amazing vehicle. Check out the pictures below and to see a full list of modifications click here. [...]
