Toledo’s Newest Local Meet!

ATTENTION ALL TOLEDO AND SURROUNDING AREA CAR PEOPLE! This Saturday may 4th we are starting Toledo’s newest meet spot. The spot will be at CAR STEREO ONE 4920 Monroe street in the rear of the building. Steve was nice enough to let us use his property so there will be a few guidelines.

1) No burn outs.

2) There’s a dumpster, so throw away any and all garbage.

3) Start time and end time 9-midnight.

That’s all pretty simple requirements to have a area we are ALLOWED to be at. So with that said lets make this a spring/summer to remember.

CYL Wins BIG at Import Face Off in Columbus!

This years IFO was one of the biggest turn outs since the show began over 7 years ago. With that said, we are proud to say that CYL came home with the majority of the trophies! Congrats to the winners!

Another year of the premier trade event in the aftermarket automotive industry is in the books! SEMA Show 2012 was once again the platform of debut for many new products headed our way next year.

You might be wondering what new products caught our attention? A couple of our sponsors, Soundstream and PrecisionPower, both released new car audio products we’re excited to be running next show season. You can check out their websites for more info on their latest model-specific products and many more innovations.

We were proud to see our friends at Accelerated Performance‘s World Record holding Subaru BRZ featured in the Exedy booth this year. Here is a video of their beast making a record 1/4 run.

October 13, 2012, the Toledo Tuners will be holding their first annual benefit car show supporting the Hillery England Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Fundraiser.

From Toledo Tuners website :

“The day is comprised of three parts: a Poker run, a car show and a benefit dinner to wrap it up. The cost for to enter either the poker run or the car show (or both, if you choose) is just $20, with all proceeds benefitting Hillery’s family to help them pay for medical bills. The registration for the car show includes a raffle ticket and entrance into the benefit dinner. We will be raffling off a multitude of prizes, including Toledo Walleye gift cards, Super Fitness monthly passes, motorcycle riding gear (Harley leather), and much, much more!”

CYL will be there to show their support, and we ask you to come out and help support a good cause.

The last big show of the season, IFO in Columbus!

This is going to be CYL’s last big show of the season, and we plan on ending the season with a bang! IFO is always a great show, and CYL has the chance to win overall points in the race for winning Best Club Representation and Best Club Participation.If we do win, we get a feature in Super Street Magazine!

IFO also features 1/4 mile track competition racing as well, which is a awesome event to watch!

September 9th, it’s the 25th annual Park-N-Shine!

Held at the Oscar Bunch Powertrain/UAW Family Park on Jackman, between Laskey & Alexis. Special interest vehicles only. No judging, and dash plaques for the first 1500 show cars. Food and refreshments available, door prizes and music.

For more Info, you can call all Bob at 567-455-6472. Show hours noon-3. Show cars can come starting at 9. Swap meet set up at 8am.
