We are to proud to announce AEM Induction Systems as the newest sponsor of Caught Ya Lookin’!

AEM is easily one of the most widely recognized names in the aftermarket automotive industry. However, most don’t know that their humble beginnings are rooted in California, circa 1987. They began as a tuning performance shop that catered to imports and vintage autos. Due to their location in California, AEM was part of the tuner market from its very beginnings in the US. Their notoriety quickly grew as cars built by their shop consistently won street and sanctioned events.

This success is surely based on the innovation that fuels their business. AEM was the first company to bring a packaged air induction system to the tuner market. It was the product of their extensive R&D, dyno testing and well-thought out engineering. While their first intake was created for the Honda CRX, their current catalog boasts applications numbering in the hundreds. It’s this innovation that continues to raise the bar and push the envelope of possibility, while also making AEM the company to beat!

As a company that has been around since the beginning of the tuner movement, CYL is truly honored to have to opportunity to work with and represent such a great company. So when your project calls for the best air induction system on the market, looks no further than AEM. Their intakes are engineered to outperform!

Be sure to check out their website (www.aemintakes.com) to see their full product line of air intake systems and air filters.

If you’ve been keeping an eye on our site you might have noticed a lack of updates since the first of the year. Behind the scenes we have been working diligently on a number of site improvements. In fact, you’re looking at one right now. This is our new blog. It replaces our old news section and brings a much more user friendly experience to our fans and followers.

Other site changes include an enhanced Schedule page, newly designed Members page, new http://caughtyalookin.com/media/ page and a variety of other visual updates throughout. For those looking to get in contact with us, feel free to use our Contact page and if you’re interested in what it takes to join CYL, you’ll be particularly interested in our new form for http://caughtyalookin.com/join/ inquiries. You can also keep up with us by finding us on Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace. Want to follow our blog via RSS? No problem, we now have a feed.

There are more new features and updates on the horizon, too. Namely we will be launching a Models page later this spring and the new Media section will continue to grow as we move through the show season and have more coverage to share. So, keep checking back and we’ll see you out and about!
